"Celebrated Vancouver Island jazz singer Edie Daponte is bringing her new show “What the World Needs Now” to Parksville for a special show at Knox United Church on Saturday, February 12th @7:00 p.m, doors open @6:30 p.m.


The format of the show has the audience transported around the world to celebrate some of  the most beloved love songs in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German
Edie pays homage to  classic love songs with her soaring and stirring vocal renditions and is joined by her longtime collaborator Joey Smith on guitar with Glen  Aaron Watson on guitar/accordion/saw, Damian Graham on drums and Tony Genge on piano. Through carefully chosen songs and dazzling costume changes, the audience can expect a captivating evening of music, love and storytelling."
