Special Lecturer: Dr. Mitchell Allen Ph.D research associate in archaeology at the University of California Berkeley.
"In this course, we will use two centuries of archaeology and the study of other historical sources, to better understand the world of ancient Israel. This will shed light on familiar stories told in the Bible, from the patriarchs and matriarchs in Genesis, through the exodus from Egypt, the Israelite kingdom of David and his successors, and the time of Jesus and the apostles."
