Knox Presents... a special fundraising concert featuring Barb Myers
Barbara Myers is a classically trained, jazz loving pianist and singer, at home in a wide variety of musical styles and venues including nightclubs, nursing homes, resource centers, prisons and churches. She toured with Alberta Culture’s concert series as a solo artist, performed at the Edmonton Jazz Festival and worked with musicians such as PJ Perry and the late Tommy Banks. During that time, she was a resource person for many church congregations, conferences, General Council events, and Naramata Centre. In 1995 she became a diaconal minister in the United Church. Now retired and living in beautiful BC, Barbara continues to share her love of music in a wide variety of settings.
