KNOX GREEN TEAM LENT 2024
Lent is the period of 40 days (not counting Sundays) from Ash Wednesday (February 14, 2024) to Holy Saturday (March 30, 2024). It is a time for reflection and commemorates the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness at the start of his ministry.
The Knox United Green Team is joining in the program “Give It Up for the Earth” organised by Citizens for Public Justice. The focus is on Climate Justice.
The three main program areas are:
- Reducing personal and household greenhouse gas emissions
- Eco-spirituality and action
- Advocacy
During worship on the Sundays in Lent a member of the Green Team will speak in a Moment of Sharing:
