Knox supports the Manna Homeless Society through the following outreach programs:

Sandwich Program

After the long Covid hiatus we are pleased to announce the reboot of the Manna Sandwich Program.
Once a month, volunteers gather in the Knox kitchen and make dozens of sandwiches and deliver them to Manna for distribution.  The sandwiches are then delivered to the Saturday meeting place behind the Legion in Parksville.
Knox works in conjunction with four other Oceanside churches in this worthwhile endeavour.

Donation Box

We collect warm clothing & accessories as well as outdoor gear such as tents and tarps; toiletries; backpacks; anything that someone who is living rough could use.   If you have something to offer, the box is in the hallway just before the lounge.

Knitting Program

Next to the Manna donation box, there is a plastic bin of yarn.  We welcome yarn donations and ask all knitters and crocheters to help themselves to the yarn to make hats, toques, scarves and mitts.  When finished, just put your creations in the Manna Donation Box.

If you are interested in helping with any of these programs, contact Jan Lucas by email.
