 each.\nYears ago\, my dearly departed friend\, Michael Wrycraft\, produced
a series of legendary shows in Ontario. \nOne night was called "Girls Do
Boys" and consisted of women performing men's songs. \nThe other night w
as called "Boys Do Girls" and was men doing women's songs. \nThe shows we
re very successful and the performers had a blast. So much so\, that Micha
el turned it into an annual event. I wanted to honour him and do the same
thing out here on the West Coast. \nSo starting in January with Girls Do
Boys\, we will be presenting a series of shows on Vancouver Island. Our fi
rst lineup consists of Helen Austin\, Shari Ulrich\, Claire Coupland\, and
Cara Luft. \nFollowing that\, in February\, we'll be doing Boys Do Girls
. And the lineup for the first year will consist of Valdy\, Fred Penner\,
Jack Connolly\, and myself. It's going to be a blast. I hope you'll join u
 s.
